Growing Up With Dogs

Now Pet Photographer

I’ve loved dogs since I was little, growing up surrounded by them in South Australia. They were my constant companions, bestest friends who followed me everywhere, loved me no matter what, and showed me what real, uncomplicated connection feels like. That bond has shaped my whole life.

I LOVE TO TRAVEL

How did I meet my husband Darren?

The Journey That Led To Us

I’ve always had the travel bug, and a camping trip across the USA, Canada, and Alaska changed everything. While in Canada, I took a photo of some friends, Darren saw it and instantly knew he wanted to meet the girl behind the lens. We later met in Australia, and it was love at first sight! I moved to the UK, where he bought me my first digital camera and encouraged me to study photography in London. That leap turned into a life together, we married in the UK and spent the first 15 years dividing our time between Australia and the UK.

From Australia, VIA The UK To The USA

How did i end up in california?

After building my wedding photography business in Australia and refining my studio skills back in London, I discovered my love for photographing pets while working with a studio that supported Battersea Animal Shelter. Darren and I had always been drawn to America, traveling there often through his music career, so when we won the Green Card Lottery, it felt meant to be. Now, with our dog Grace, we’re lucky to call Pasadena, California home.

Pasadena Humane Volunteer of the Year

Pasadena Humane society

Volunteering

Photographing dogs for their adoption profiles and capturing special events like the Wiggle Waggle Walk & Run, the Rose Parade float, and their annual calendar. I’ve also documented challenging moments, such as the Eaton Fires, providing images that helped raise crucial funds for animals affected by the disaster. In addition, I take long-term shelter dogs on special on-location photo sessions at Pasadena’s iconic landmarks. Being surrounded by rescue animals has shaped the way I work, with gentleness, patience, and deep respect for each pet’s story. Volunteering for Pasadena Humane Society isn’t just something I do, it’s my passion.

Capturing Her Life Journey

I always make sure I photograph my beautiful dog Grace and capturing her life journey, just as I would if I had children, because she is my family and my fur baby. From puppy to now 8, I have her sassy character, her confidence and strong will, and her lovable personality all captured in photos.

I love being able to serve other families in my community who value and want the same, I’m fortunate to be part of their pets life throughout and I’m often called Aunty Wren to many dogs and cats!

But Enough About me!

I’d Love To Hear Your Pet's Story!

I’d love to hear more about their unique story, and what makes them so special.
